Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure components.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or Ansible for consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployments across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps to automate software deployment and infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate automated solutions into existing workflows.
- Monitor automated systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated processes, tools, and infrastructure configurations.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in infrastructure automation, cloud computing, and DevOps, recommending and implementing improvements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems and system administration.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
