Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security access and conduct security assessments across all systems and networks.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies including firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-mortem analysis.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to embed security into the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Administer identity and access management (IAM) systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security principles (Azure, AWS).
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys), and penetration testing frameworks.
- Experience with incident response methodologies and digital forensics.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
