Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Go.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, bringing a Go-centric perspective.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in Go development and the broader software landscape.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) and its core principles.
- Strong understanding of concurrent programming paradigms and Goroutines/Channels.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases).
