Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and accurately check incoming shipments against invoices and purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain stockroom and warehouse areas, ensuring cleanliness and optimal space utilization.
  • Execute inventory counts, reconciliations, and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for dispatch, adhering to strict quality and packing standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members and logistics coordinators to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and security protocols within the warehouse.
  • Assist with periodic stock audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20kg) and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a stock associate, warehouse, or logistics role.
  • Experience using inventory management software (e.g., WMS).
