Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repair of facilities infrastructure and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural).
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules and programs.
- Supervise, train, and motivate on-site maintenance, janitorial, and security staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized maintenance, repairs, and projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local health, safety, environmental, and building regulations and company policies.
- Manage facility budgets, track expenditures, procure necessary supplies and equipment, and implement cost-control measures.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, outages, and critical operational issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, equipment history, and expenses.
- Implement and monitor security protocols and oversee facility access control systems to ensure a safe environment.
- Prepare regular reports on building status, operational performance, maintenance schedules, and budget adherence.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in building management, facilities management, or a similar operational leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and structural components.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management, cost control, and vendor negotiations.
- Proficiency in facilities management software (CMMS) and standard Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- A strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex operational and technical issues efficiently.
- In-depth understanding and practical application of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication.
- Proven ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
