Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process all sync licensing requests from initial inquiry to final execution.
- Liaise with music supervisors, producers, and creative agencies to pitch appropriate music from our catalogue.
- Negotiate licensing fees and terms, ensuring alignment with company policies and artist agreements.
- Prepare and issue comprehensive licensing agreements, quotes, invoices, and other legal documents.
- Maintain and update the music catalogue database, ensuring accurate metadata and rights information.
- Track and report on sync licensing activities, revenue, and market trends.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential clients for sync placements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (A&R, Marketing, Legal) to maximise licensing opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with copyright law and intellectual property rights across all agreements.
- Provide excellent client service, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in music licensing, copyright, or a related field within the music industry.
- Strong understanding of music publishing, master rights, and sync licensing processes.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in database management and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated passion for music and knowledge of various genres and artists.
