Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process all sync licensing requests from initial inquiry to final execution.
  • Liaise with music supervisors, producers, and creative agencies to pitch appropriate music from our catalogue.
  • Negotiate licensing fees and terms, ensuring alignment with company policies and artist agreements.
  • Prepare and issue comprehensive licensing agreements, quotes, invoices, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain and update the music catalogue database, ensuring accurate metadata and rights information.
  • Track and report on sync licensing activities, revenue, and market trends.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential clients for sync placements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (A&R, Marketing, Legal) to maximise licensing opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright law and intellectual property rights across all agreements.
  • Provide excellent client service, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in music licensing, copyright, or a related field within the music industry.
  • Strong understanding of music publishing, master rights, and sync licensing processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in database management and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for music and knowledge of various genres and artists.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Entertainment Law, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with specific music licensing software or CRM systems.
  • Existing network of contacts within the film, TV, advertising, or gaming industries.
