As a Physiotherapist, you will be integral to a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, patient-centered management. Your daily responsibilities will involve comprehensive assessment, accurate diagnosis, and the development and implementation of personalised treatment programmes tailored to each patient’s unique needs and recovery goals. You will manage a diverse caseload across various specialties, potentially including acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, neurological rehabilitation, respiratory care, and rehabilitation for older adults, providing a broad and enriching clinical experience. This role demands excellent clinical reasoning skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to adapt treatment plans effectively to meet evolving patient conditions and facilitate optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapeutic assessments, interpret findings, and formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised treatment programmes using a variety of evidence-based techniques.
- Manage a diverse caseload of patients with varying conditions, adapting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Provide clear education and advice to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment, and self-management.
- Maintain accurate, concise, and timely patient records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
- Proven clinical experience in assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and/or respiratory conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate training or certifications in a specialist area of physiotherapy.
- Experience working within the NHS or a similar public healthcare system.
