Key Responsibilities
- Operate professional video cameras, including DSLRs, mirrorless, and cinema cameras, for various production needs.
- Set up and adjust lighting equipment to achieve desired visual aesthetics and mood.
- Manage and operate audio recording equipment, ensuring clear and crisp sound capture.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to interpret creative briefs and execute vision.
- Conduct pre-production planning, including location scouting, equipment checks, and shot list development.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with camera and related equipment on location.
- Maintain and organize all camera gear and accessories, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Ensure all footage is properly logged, backed up, and transferred for post-production.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in cinematography and video production.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating professional video cameras (e.g., Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, RED).
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques (natural, artificial, 3-point lighting).
- Expertise in audio recording and microphone setup.
- Solid knowledge of cinematic composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of videography and cinematography work.
- Fluency in English and French (Creole a plus).
