Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of all concert-goers, staff, and performers.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, checking tickets and credentials to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Manage crowd flow and intervene in disruptive situations, employing de-escalation techniques.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches.
  • Conduct thorough bag checks and body searches as required, adhering to strict protocols.
  • Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Provide clear directions and information to concert attendees, offering assistance when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with event organizers, venue staff, and emergency services.
  • Enforce venue policies and regulations with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately.

Required Skills

  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence (or working towards one)
  • Proven experience in a security role, preferably within events or public-facing environments.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality, especially for night shifts.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Experience with crowd management in large venues.
  • Previous experience specifically in concert or festival security.
  • Knowledge of local safety regulations and emergency procedures.
  • A customer-service oriented mindset.
