Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing inventory on shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and operating the cash register. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products and making purchasing decisions.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including cash, card payments, and mobile money.
- Stock shelves, display merchandise attractively, and ensure products are correctly priced and rotated.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock items to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment, including aisles, checkout areas, and storage spaces.
- Check expiry dates of products regularly and remove expired or damaged goods.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, ensuring goods match invoices.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving minor issues professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
