Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including incoming and outgoing shipments, storage, and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory control systems, conduct regular stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements, optimizing routes and loads for efficiency.
- Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution of logistics activities.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to track orders, manage transportation, and analyze operational data.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise in the logistics process, communicating proactively with stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to logistics, safety, and compliance.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to foster collaborative success.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in a warehouse/delivery environment (3+ years).
- Excellent knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
