Career.zycto is actively seeking a reliable and motivated Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our Tuscumbia team for an immediate start. This is a full-time opportunity for an individual who takes pride in providing exceptional service and ensuring timely, safe deliveries. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various commercial and residential locations within the local Tuscumbia and surrounding Shoals area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL company vehicle to deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of all goods.
- Verify accuracy of shipments against delivery manifests, noting any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and delivery area.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 6 months of professional driving experience (delivery, courier, etc.).
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Familiarity with Tuscumbia, AL, and surrounding areas is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience using GPS and routing software for efficient delivery planning.
- Previous experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Proven track record of reliability and punctuality in previous roles.
