Key Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers accurately and efficiently.
- Process various payment types, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Handle cash transactions, provide accurate change, and manage till reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Scan, bag, and price merchandise correctly, applying discounts or promotions as needed.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries and product location.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
