Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
  • Perform routine and thorough quality checks on products at different stages of production, ensuring strict adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Accurately load and unload raw materials, components, and finished products from production lines.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work area, strictly adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Diligently follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and specific work instructions.
  • Identify and promptly report any equipment malfunctions, quality inconsistencies, or potential safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks and contribute to troubleshooting efforts for machinery as required.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering insights to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum of 1 year) in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free work.
  • Excellent understanding and strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform duties that may involve lifting, standing, and repetitive movements.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for understanding instructions, recording data, and basic problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications
