Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Manually wash specific items that cannot be put through the dish machine.
- Ensure all kitchenware is properly sanitized, dried, and stored in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces.
- Assist with basic food prep tasks or kitchen cleanup as needed during slower periods.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to kitchen management promptly.
- Support kitchen staff in keeping the overall kitchen environment tidy and efficient.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, following all proper usage procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
