Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, proactively addressing issues.
- Develop and implement cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance and data protection.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance and reliability in the cloud.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues within cloud environments.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical cloud systems.
- Document cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with relevant certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compute services.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) in cloud environments.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
