Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries accurately against manifests and delivery notes.
- Safely store goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and space optimisation.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and efficiency, preparing them for dispatch.
- Assist with the loading of outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet trucks) safely and responsibly (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and stock management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
