Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified staff with the daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for children, including tidying play areas and assisting with mealtime routines.
- Support children's personal care needs, such as nappy changing, toileting, and feeding, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Observe and monitor children's progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns or achievements to senior staff.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, and equal opportunities.

- Current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
