Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies to optimise cost, quality, and delivery.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, conduct due diligence, and manage tender processes.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and mitigate risk.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain dynamics, and technological advancements to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, focusing on efficiency and value.
- Analyse expenditure patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on procurement performance.
- Manage and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and operational factors.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa).
