Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on job sites.
- Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris, waste, and other hazards.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and supplies efficiently.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and under supervision.
- Dig trenches, shovel earth, backfill excavations, and level ground as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines diligently, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, contributing to a safe and productive environment.
- Adhere to project timelines and complete tasks efficiently, reporting any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform other physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
