As a Mobile App Developer with Career.zycto, you will be instrumental in all phases of the mobile application lifecycle, from conceptualisation and design to testing and deployment. You will work closely with our product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to translate visions into robust, scalable, and intuitive mobile solutions. Our projects span across both native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) platforms, and we’re always exploring hybrid frameworks like React Native or Flutter for specific use cases. Your day-to-day will involve writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and continuously optimising application performance and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UI/UX, Backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
- Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatization.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
- Proficiency in native iOS development using Swift/Objective-C and/or native Android development using Kotlin/Java.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and JSON parsing.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
