Key Responsibilities
- Collect orders from various merchants promptly and courteously.
- Deliver items safely, efficiently, and in excellent condition to customer locations.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS and local knowledge to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and positive attitude during all interactions.
- Handle payments and order confirmations accurately via the mobile application.
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and integrity of delivered items from collection to delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers, merchants, and the Career.zycto support team for smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license (for scooter/motorcycle) or proficiency in cycling (for bicycle riders).
- Own reliable vehicle (scooter, motorcycle, or bicycle) and appropriate safety gear (helmet, lights, etc.).
- Smartphone with a robust data plan for running the delivery application and navigation.
- Excellent navigation and route planning abilities, with a good sense of direction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for positive customer and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Good physical fitness and stamina (especially for bicycle riders) to handle deliveries across shifts.
- Eligibility to work legally in the United Kingdom.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery rider, courier, or in a similar logistics/service role.
- Familiarity with the Wembley, London area, including shortcuts and traffic patterns.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance for minor issues on the go.
