Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Plumber – Repairs & Installation to join our network of elite trades professionals serving the Tingley and wider Leeds region. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced plumber looking for consistent work with reputable clients, ensuring quality workmanship across a diverse range of projects. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties, responding to emergency call-outs, performing routine maintenance, and executing complex installations.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues including leaks, blockages, and system failures in residential and commercial settings.
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply systems, drainage systems, and heating components.
- Fit and repair domestic appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, and water heaters.
- Install new bathrooms, showers, toilets, and kitchens, ensuring proper functionality and aesthetic standards.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently and prevent future issues.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, relevant building codes, and industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining work completed, offering advice, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Manage workload efficiently, prioritising urgent repairs and emergency call-outs while meeting project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours logged for invoicing and compliance.
- Conduct pre-installation site surveys and provide accurate estimates for new projects or significant repairs.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Proven experience in plumbing repairs, maintenance, and new installations.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for a wide range of plumbing issues.
- Proficiency in various pipework materials (copper, plastic) and fitting techniques.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Gas Safe registration (if involved in gas appliance installation or repair).
- Experience with unvented hot water systems (G3 qualification).
- Additional certifications in specific plumbing technologies (e.g., renewables, water treatment).
- Previous experience with commercial plumbing systems.
- Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities for complex issues.
