Key Responsibilities
- Verify identification and age requirements for entry, adhering to licensing laws.
- Monitor venue entrances, exits, and internal areas to prevent unauthorized access and maintain order.
- Conduct searches when required, following legal protocols and company policies.
- Proactively identify and de-escalate potential conflicts or disruptive behaviour.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, including first aid incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
- Liaise with management, police, and emergency services as necessary.
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Provide a visible security presence, deterring anti-social behaviour.
- Assist patrons with directions, information, and general inquiries, promoting a positive experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maximum occupancy limits.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor License (essential).
- Proven experience as a Door Supervisor or in a similar security role (minimum 12 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Solid understanding of relevant security legislation and licensing laws.
- Physical fitness and stamina to stand for extended periods and manage challenging situations.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.

- First Aid at Work qualification.
