Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Perform assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly fitted and product specifications are met.
- Conduct quality control checks at various stages of production, identifying and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles and general housekeeping standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from production lines and preparing finished products for shipment.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems to supervisors or maintenance staff.
- Accurately complete production logs, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S)
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification a plus)
