Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments and fault finding on various heating systems (boilers, radiators, warm air units).
- Install, service, and repair domestic and commercial heating appliances and systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and extend system lifespan.
- Provide expert advice and technical support to clients regarding heating solutions and energy efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
- Manage and prioritize workload efficiently to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional conduct and quality workmanship.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency breakdowns (if applicable).
- Stay updated with new technologies and regulations within the heating and HVAC industry.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified Heating Engineer.
- Gas Safe Registered with relevant ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1).
- Proven experience with boiler installations, servicing, and repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent knowledge of heating systems, controls, and components.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial heating systems.
- Knowledge of renewable energy heating solutions (e.g., heat pumps).
- Experience with smart home heating controls.
- Additional plumbing qualifications or experience.
