Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, preparing orientation materials and coordinating initial paperwork.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assist with the coordination of HR projects, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations using various HR metrics and data.
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring all HR activities adhere to local labor laws and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English and Portuguese.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Fluency in a local language relevant to Balama, Cabo Delgado Province (e.g., Makhuwa, Makonde).
