Job Description

Freestyle Creative is seeking a talented Remote Freelance Illustrator to collaborate with our dynamic team on a project-by-project basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an artist to contribute their unique style and expertise to a wide array of client projects, ranging from digital marketing campaigns and web assets to print collateral, brand storytelling, and animated content. As a freelance illustrator, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and executing original illustrations that align with client brand guidelines and project objectives. You will be responsible for taking initial briefs, developing concepts, presenting sketches, and refining final artwork based on feedback. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative directors and project managers to understand illustration requirements and project scope.
- Develop original concepts and produce high-quality illustrations that meet client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Present preliminary sketches and refined artwork to the creative team and clients for feedback and approval.
- Incorporate revisions and feedback efficiently to deliver final artwork within established deadlines.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Freestyle Creative team regarding project progress, challenges, and timelines.
- Manage multiple illustration projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software, and new illustration techniques to continuously enhance skill set.
- Prepare final artwork files in various formats (e.g., vector, raster) suitable for diverse applications (web, print, animation).
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional Illustrator with a strong, diverse portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Exceptional drawing and rendering skills across various styles (e.g., editorial, character, technical, conceptual).
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of taking direction and providing constructive input.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote freelance environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, polished artwork.
- Comfortable working with tight deadlines and adapting to project changes.
Preferred Qualifications
