Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, inspect, and process incoming goods, ensuring correct quantities and quality standards are met.
- Efficiently pick and pack orders for dispatch, adhering to specific client requirements and deadlines.
- Load and unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts if certified).
- Store goods in designated warehouse locations, maintaining an organised and accessible inventory.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment responsibly and report any faults or maintenance issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational targets.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment.
- Ability to work consistently and reliably during night hours (e.g., 10 PM – 6 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork.
- Demonstrable commitment to health and safety procedures.
