Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Paralegal Document Review Officer to join our vibrant team in Boyne Island, Gladstone. This critical role is central to our legal support operations, focusing on the meticulous review, analysis, and organisation of large volumes of legal documents for various cases and projects. You will be instrumental in identifying key information, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the integrity of our document management systems, directly contributing to the success of our legal strategies.

As a Paralegal Document Review Officer, you will work closely with solicitors, legal teams, and other paralegals, providing essential support across all stages of the litigation and due diligence processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Categorise and tag documents based on established review protocols and project guidelines.
  • Identify and flag key documents, factual information, and privileged materials for legal team analysis.
  • Perform quality control checks on document review output to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of document productions, privilege logs, and chronologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with legal teams and senior paralegals to understand case objectives and review strategies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols for all sensitive information.
  • Provide regular updates on review progress and potential issues to project leads.
  • Utilise legal research tools and databases to support document analysis as required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of review workflows and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in legal document review or a similar paralegal role.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and ethical guidelines.
