Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as an Entry-Level Behavior Technician in Ward Cove, Ketchikan. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with clients under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy in client homes, clinics, or community settings.
- Collect accurate and objective data on client progress and behavior during sessions.
- Assist clients in developing social, communication, adaptive, and daily living skills.
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive therapeutic environment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, families, and team members.
- Attend regular supervision meetings with a BCBA to review client progress and receive feedback.
- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
- Complete all required documentation and session notes in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations within Ward Cove/Ketchikan.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly autism.
- Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (training provided).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
