Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct academic and social support to students with diverse learning needs, individually or in small groups.
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other learning strategies under the guidance of classroom teachers.
- Facilitate student engagement in classroom activities, lessons, and assignments, adapting materials as required.
- Support students with personal care, hygiene, and mobility needs, adhering to established protocols and privacy standards.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, guardians, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to student development.
- Monitor student progress, observe behaviors, and report insights to teachers, contributing to ongoing assessments and planning.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain learning materials, resources, and classroom equipment.
- Assist in managing classroom routines, maintaining a safe, inclusive, and orderly learning environment.
- Implement positive behavior intervention strategies as directed, promoting self-regulation and social skills.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings as required.

- Knowledge of common learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, or developmental delays.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting with school-aged children.
