Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Training and Development Trainee to join our dynamic team in Cap-de-la-Madeleine. As a Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, delivery, and evaluation of our comprehensive learning initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience across various aspects of the learning and development cycle, from conducting needs assessments and researching best practices to assisting in the creation of engaging training materials and coordinating logistical arrangements for workshops. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Support the development and modification of training materials, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Help coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs.
- Administer pre and post-training evaluations to measure effectiveness and gather feedback.
- Maintain accurate training records, track participation, and prepare progress reports.
- Research innovative training methodologies and industry best practices to enhance our programs.
- Provide administrative support for the Learning & Development department, including scheduling and material preparation.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic presentation and public speaking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in a training, HR, or educational setting.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an asset.
