Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in preparing and organizing classroom materials, visual aids, and lesson plans.
  • Support classroom management by helping to maintain a positive and orderly learning environment.
  • Provide individualized or small group assistance to students, reinforcing concepts taught by the teacher.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to the lead teacher.
  • Help facilitate engaging educational activities, games, and projects.
  • Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as lunch, recess, or transitions.
  • Assist students with personal needs as required, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings as required.
