Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise cutting, trimming, and deboning of various meat products according to specifications.
- Operate and maintain meat processing machinery safely and efficiently, including saws, grinders, and slicers.
- Package finished meat products, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and quality control.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety (HACCP), sanitation, and hygiene standards, including regular cleaning of work areas and equipment.
- Monitor product quality throughout the processing stages, identifying and reporting any deviations.
- Load and unload meat products and materials, requiring some heavy lifting and manual dexterity.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain workflow.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation, contributing to overall facility cleanliness and safety.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance and workplace conduct.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive motions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cutting and packaging.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.
