Career.zycto is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Operations Analyst to join our team in historic Old Town, San Diego. As an Operations Analyst, you will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and product development, to understand their operational challenges and support them in achieving their goals. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and progress.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective, data-driven operational solutions.
- Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to build predictive models and forecast operational needs and trends.
- Support the implementation of new processes, technologies, and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
- Assist in the development and documentation of operational procedures and best practices to standardize workflows.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes for optimization opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Data Science, or a related analytical field.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in an Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar data-focused role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and SQL for querying databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw actionable conclusions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of core business processes and operational workflows, with an eye for efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
