This is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and statutory reporting.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the budget and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
- Manage the audit process, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Conduct financial analysis, provide insights, and make recommendations to senior management on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems and software to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification (active or inactive).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller position.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with enterprise-level ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
