Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and reconcile timekeeping records and other payroll-related data.
  • Calculate and process various payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of payroll reports to management and finance departments.
  • Maintain meticulous payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax information.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
  • Participate in year-end payroll processing, including W-2 preparation and distribution.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related financial role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar enterprise systems).
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
