Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers warmly, providing excellent service and product recommendations.
  • Operate the till system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and process sales.
  • Replenish and rotate stock, ensuring shelves are well-organised, tidy, and visually appealing.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shop floor, storage areas, and customer facilities.
  • Assist with receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory and proper storage of produce.
  • Learn about the provenance and characteristics of various farm products to effectively answer customer queries.
  • Handle customer complaints or queries professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food handling and storage.
