Job Description

As a Function Room Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the setup, execution, and clear-down of various events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and celebratory gatherings. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of function rooms according to event specifications (e.g., table arrangements, chair placement, décor).
  • Support catering staff with food and beverage service, including tray service, clearing tables, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of function rooms, service areas, and back-of-house facilities before, during, and after events.
  • Replenish supplies such as water, glasses, and condiments as needed throughout events.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Operate and maintain basic event equipment (e.g., AV systems, lighting controls) under supervision.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist with basic kitchen duties such as washing dishes or stocking supplies when required.
