As a Mattress Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our service, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of various mattress types and related bedding products. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles (box trucks, vans) to transport mattresses and bedding products to customer locations.
- Load and unload mattresses and related items, ensuring proper handling and securing to prevent damage during transit.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping tools, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including clear communication, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Install mattresses and bed foundations in customers' homes as required, following specific instructions.
- Inspect mattresses for damage before and after delivery, documenting any issues accurately.
- Collect payments and obtain signatures from customers upon successful delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine checks of assigned delivery vehicles.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including organizing inventory, staging deliveries, and general upkeep, as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 100+ lbs with assistance) consistently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
