Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and management.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, security, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and streamline application deployment processes.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and services to enhance our infrastructure.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancing).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Engineer).
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
- Knowledge of database management in cloud environments (e.g., RDS, Cosmos DB, Cloud SQL).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices in cloud.
