Key Responsibilities

  • Carefully handle, move, and store a wide variety of auction items, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
  • Assist with the setup and dismantling of auction viewings and sale rooms, including arranging furniture, art, and collectibles.
  • Support the packing and preparation of sold lots for collection or dispatch, adhering to strict quality and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the saleroom, storage areas, and loading docks.
  • Receive and log new consignments, assisting with condition checks and inventory management as directed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures, particularly those related to manual handling and item security.
  • Work collaboratively with the auctioneer, valuers, administrators, and other team members to ensure smooth auction operations.
