Career.zycto is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a prominent cinema in Deptford, London, seeking enthusiastic and friendly Part-Time Cinema Ushers with no prior experience required! As a Cinema Usher, you will be the face of the cinema, ensuring every guest has an exceptional and memorable visit from the moment they step through our doors. Your primary role will involve creating a welcoming atmosphere, guiding guests to their screens, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the cinema premises. You’ll work closely with a supportive team, learning the ropes from day one and developing essential skills in communication, problem-solving, and guest relations.

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and assist all cinema guests, providing an excellent level of customer service.
- Verify tickets and guide patrons to their correct screens and seating areas.
- Monitor cinema screens during showings to ensure guest comfort and address any immediate issues (e.g., lighting, sound, unruly behaviour).
- Maintain cleanliness and order in auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, and other public areas before, during, and after screenings.
- Assist with the clearing and cleaning of auditoriums between film showings, including collecting litter and wiping down seats.
- Enforce cinema policies and safety procedures, including age restrictions for films.
- Answer guest inquiries regarding film schedules, facilities, and general cinema information.
- Support concession stand operations during busy periods, if required, after appropriate training.
- Handle minor guest complaints or escalate complex issues to management promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment.
