Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and tend to CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code programs.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components, ensuring proper material handling.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Document production activities, including part counts, machine settings, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to optimize production processes and improve part quality.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders).
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming and machine control interfaces.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
- Demonstrated experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
- Basic mechanical aptitude for machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Adherence to strict safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
