Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout, identify, and evaluate emerging musical talent across various genres (pop, R&B, hip-hop, indie, electronic, etc.) through live performances, digital platforms, and industry networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, and other industry contacts to foster a robust talent pipeline.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential signings, including market research, competitive analysis, and legal considerations.
- Prepare detailed artist briefs and compelling pitch presentations for the A&R committee.
- Negotiate and facilitate artist recording deals and development agreements.
- Provide creative input and guidance during the recording and production process, working closely with artists and producers.
- Collaborate with marketing, publicity, and promotion teams to strategize artist development and launch plans.
- Stay abreast of current music trends, industry shifts, and technological advancements to inform scouting strategies.
- Attend industry events, showcases, and festivals to represent Career.zycto and expand professional networks.
