Key Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and work accurately from engineering blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine dimensions and specifications.
- Cut, shape, and form steel components using various machinery and tools such as shears, brakes, grinders, plasma cutters, and oxy-fuel equipment.
- Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc) to assemble fabricated steel structures and components to required standards.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to clarify specifications and resolve fabrication challenges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
- Assist in the installation of fabricated components as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong practical experience in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Arc welding).
- Demonstrated ability to operate metal fabrication machinery (e.g., shears, press brakes, grinders, cutting tools).
