Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and process financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Administer and process payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory deductions and timely remittances.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying variances and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
