Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against financial goals and reporting variances.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, assisting with timely tax preparation and filings.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and facilitating a smooth audit process.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control of financial reporting systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights, analyze performance, and support strategic decision-making.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in an accounting role, demonstrating increasing responsibility.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
