Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive affiliate marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase direct bookings for the hotel.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliate partners, negotiating favorable terms and commission structures.
- Manage and cultivate strong relationships with existing affiliates to maximize their performance and engagement.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on affiliate campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in affiliate marketing and hospitality.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure brand consistency and effective campaign integration.
- Provide affiliates with necessary marketing materials, including high-quality banners, text links, promotional content, and product feeds.
- Ensure strict compliance with affiliate program policies and brand guidelines across all partnerships.
- Optimize affiliate campaigns for key metrics such as conversion rates, click-through rates, average order value, and return on investment (ROI).
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in affiliate marketing, with a demonstrable track record of success, preferably within the hospitality or tourism sector.
- Strong understanding of various affiliate marketing models, platforms, and tracking technologies (e.g., Impact, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to evaluate campaign performance and identify trends.
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing principles.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; Swahili proficiency is considered a significant advantage.
